In our lab we study a variety of biomedical problems on the molecular and cellular level. Three of our current efforts involve developing: 1) new techniques for differentiating stem cells into liver, pancreas and neural cells, 2) developing new cancer vaccines, and 3) microfabricated organotypic tissue culture systems for studying traumatic brain injury.
