BME Class of 2012 senior Alyssa Kosmides has been selected to receive a prestigious 2012 National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) Fellowship. Her selection recognizes her outstanding abilities and accomplishments, as well as her potential to contribute to strengthening the vitality of the US science and engineering enterprise. The fellowship will provide full 3-year support towards her graduate studies. Alyssa is an Honors Academy student working with Professor Yannis Androulakis on deciphering the complexities and implications of ultradian cortisol secretion and its implications in stress.
