BME PhD student Panagiota (Pegy) Foteinou was awarded an SoE Outstanding Graduate Student Award. Pegy has developed an outstanding academic record here at Rutgers, with close to 10 archival publications. She was also the recipient of a Graduate School Bevier Fellowship, several travel grant awards, and has accepted a post-doctoral position at a prestigious university. She has also been involved with BME, helping with activities and mentoring undergraduates. There were two award recipients will both will receive $500 checks. Pegy is advised by Professor Ioannis Androulakis.
