Professors Nada Boustany and David Shreiber have each been awarded an $8,000 International Collaborative Research Grant from Rutgers Global.
Professor Boustany's project is entitled “Combining FRET microscopy with optical tweezers for the study of mechanobiology” and is in collaboration with the Institut d’optique in France.
Professor Shreiber's project is entitled “Investigating the role of collagen-III mutations on vessel composition and integrity in vascular Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome with rationally designed collagen hydrogels” and is in collaboration with Jiangnan University.
