Prof. Babis Kalodimos have been selected as the recipient of the 2011 Michael and Kate Barany Award for Young Investigator by Biophysical Society. He is recognized for his work using NMR spectroscopy, combined with other biophysical methodologies, to determine the mechanisms underlying the functionality of large protein machineries. The award will be presented at the Annual Meeting in Baltimore, Maryland, March 5-9. The award presentation ceremony precedes the National Lecture on Monday evening, and as the Barany awardee he will be listed as a speaker in the Tuesday Awards Symposium.
