Erin Kelley, an undergraduate in the School of Arts and Sciences, has been selected for a Henry Rutgers Scholar Award for her independent research into how vinculin - a protein that helps link integrins to the cytoskeleton - changes in neurons in culture. Erin is advised by BME Professor Nada Boustany, Dr. Rene Schloss, and Cell Biology & Neuroscience Professor Bonnie Firestein.
