Rutgers-UMDNJ Biotechnology Training Program Renewed

The Rutgers-UMDNJ Biotechnology PhD Training Program has been renewed for a record fifth time (years 21-25). The 5-year award, totaling $1,527,190 provides 8 pre-doctoral fellowship awards per year, and is matched by 3 fellowships from Rutgers and 2 fellowships from UMDNJ. This award started in 1989 and is funded through the NIH. The aim of the program is to train a new breed of creative investigators who are able to translate basic science discoveries into technology developments for the needs of society, government, and industry.
