Student Awarded Douglass Residential College Challenge Award

BME graduating senior and new MS student Wilai Kosol has been selected for the Douglass Residential College Challenge Award which is given to a Douglass student who has taken risks and persevered in a challenging academic environment, a community service-oriented endeavor, or a co-curricular activity.

She is a member of the Biomedical Engineering Honors Academy, the James J. Slade Scholars Program and the Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation. Upon graduation she will intern at Ethicon, a Johnson & Johnson company, on one of its Research & Development teams before returning in the fall to complete her MS degree in BME. Wilai`s current research advisor is Professor Francois Berthiaume.
