Work in the Yarmush Lab Spotlighted

Research performed in the laboratory of Professor Martin Yarmush on the encapsulation of mesenchymal stromal cells as a therapeutic intervention post acute spinal cord injury is spotlighted on the cover of the November issue of Biotechnology and Bioengineering. Lead author on the work is BME graduate student Jeffrey Barminko, with contributions from Keck center postdoctoral researcher Jae Hwan Kim and Professor Martin Grumet as well as BME graduate student Andrea Gray and Professor Rene Schloss.
